A vibrant, organic single-origin from the highlands of Cajamarca, Peru, this coffee embodies the resilient spirit of Peru’s smallholder farmers. Sourced from the Cooperativa Agraria Selva Andina—an association of 497 dedicated producers in the Miraflores region of Jaén—this lot is grown on small plots intercropped with shade trees, bananas, corn, and beans at around 1800 masl. The farmers carefully hand-harvest and process the cherries using their own micro-mills: depulping, fermenting, washing, and sun-drying to bring out exceptional clarity and balance. The cooperative provides vital support through technical guidance, infrastructure improvements, and certification, ensuring traceability and sustainable practices from seed to cup.
