Ocotillo Outpost began as a family dream: a way to teach our two young daughters (now 11 and 9) the ins and outs of entrepreneurship, hard work, and building something meaningful. Inspired by their love of Star Wars and far-flung planetary outposts, we chose the name as a nod to adventure, resilience, and possibility. The ocotillo itself—a striking desert plant that thrives in the harshest conditions and bursts into fiery red blooms after rain—perfectly captures the spirit of our rugged, mystical corner of the Southwest. Like the ocotillo, we're here to stand tall, adapt, and bring life (and incredible coffee) to the high desert.

We're proud to source only the finest ethically grown green beans from coffee origins around the world, carefully selected for their exceptional quality and the vibrant, distinctive flavors only their unique terroir can create. Coffee is just our first frontier. The “Outpost” name isn’t accidental—we’re building a launchpad for future handcrafted goods, one small-batch treasures, and whatever wild, wonderful ideas the trail ahead brings. The journey is wide open, and we can’t wait to see where it leads.
